Madison Community House- Madison, NJ
I worked as a Teacher’s Assistant for an after school musical theatre class for elementary school students twice a week. We worked over the course of 8 weeks on a recital consisting of various songs from multiple musicals. I assisted with directing and choreographing the show, as well as running activities for the students.
JCC Manhattan- New York, NY
I worked as a Teacher for the “2s Together” Program at the JCC in Manhattan, as part of the Early Childhood Program. I worked with a team of teachers, with a class of 10 Toddlers. We were responsible for creating our own lesson plans, communicating with parents on a daily basis, and producing a newsletter for parents and families weekly.
Wingspan Arts- New York NY
I worked as an Assistant Site Director and Teaching Artist for Wingspan Arts, an Arts Education company called Wingspan Arts- that provides after school arts programming in New York City Public Schools. I oversaw the programming at PS 527, and additionally taught classes with K-2 aged students.
The Learning Circle YMCA- Summit, NJ
After moving to New Jersey, I started working as a full time Pre- K teacher. I was responsible for implementing lesson plans, working alongside a co- teacher, and creating original STEAM activities. I had daily communication with parents, including parent teacher conferences twice a year, and updating a weekly newsletter and bulletin board.
Essex Youth Theatre- Montclair, NJ
I worked with Essex Youth Theatre as an Assistant Teacher, meaning essentially Assistant Director for multiple shows during summer camp and after school classes. During the summer, we performed new original show every week, working with elementary- middle school aged kids. During the school year, I assisted with after school classes multiple times a week, where the sessions culminated with an original show.
Into the Woods Jr.- Morristown, NJ
I was responsible for Directing a production of Into the Woods Jr. for a charter school in Morristown, NJ with students in 4-8th grade.
Kidville- Denville, NJ
I worked as a Teacher and Kidville, and taught a variety of arts enrichment classes to preschool aged students. I was responsible for implementing lesson plans, and creating fun activities to apply to each class.
